Made famous by Juha Kankkunen’s world record breaking Brietling Bentley a few years ago, Bentley return to Finland once again this year for another Power On Ice event, this time with the Bentley GT3-R limited edition on hand for rides alongside Bentley Boy Kankkunen.
Bentley are offering the four day event to exclusive clients wanting to learn more about the technology and four wheel drive systems in the Bentley Continental GT’s and Flying Spurs. The all-wheel drive systemsconstantly adjust the levels of power to the front and rear wheels depending on available traction, ensuring optimal grip is delivered regardless of the imperfections of the surface. A luxurious hand trimmed leather interior – and heated seats – provide welcome respite from the cold, ensuring customers refine their driving skills in an interior cabin as cosseting as the external environment is inhospitable. Guests can embellish their driving experiences with activities at a slightly different pace, with snowmobile rides and ice-karting throughout the day.

The experience is hosted at the Chalet Ruka Peak hotel, with opportunities for dog sledding and snow mobile riding for the more adventurous. For those preferring their ice clinking in a glass, leisurely saunas and traditional Finnish cuisine will be on hand.
We’re big advocates of ice driving, even the most timid of drivers will find huge improvements in their driving skills on this surface, while the beautiful Scandinavian wilderness has to be experienced first hand to be believed.
