This lovely video by Vimeo user Daniel Fery in Belgium will make us all wish we had the resources to obtain a Porsche 917. This isn’t a track test with a motoring hack of dubious fame doing his ‘piece to camera’. Instead, it’s a nicely shot narrative depicting the Porsche 917’s owner, Vincent Gaye loading the restored car into the truck and then taking his 917 to my favourite race track, Spa Francorchamps.
Some lovely engine note recordings, all set in the context of the picturesque Spa. Sit back, turn up the speakers. What’s not to like?
