Next time you’re having a bad day or need some inspiration, watch this short video on Alex Zanardi. Already well known in motorsport, I vividly recall his horrific accident and injuries that resulted in him losing both legs. His return to Touring Car racing in such a short time was amazing. Even more so was the fact that he was still a winner.
Since then, he’s gone on to win two gold medals at the Paralympics in London 2012 and just recently two hand bike world titles. This short is part of the forthcoming Adrenaline documentary covering the history of BMW in Touring Cars.
Alex is one of my heroes, this shows you why.
