Pete Windsor hosts an hour long session with Alastair Caldwell, Team Manager of McLaren in James Hunt’s victorious title year; Tom Hunt, James’ son who today works full-time on the James Hunt Foundation; and Richard Wiseman, archive producer for both Rush and the recent BBC Hunt vs Lauda documentary.
The documentary is a great programme and this show gives a further insight into that whole period of Formula One. Full of anecdotes and recollections, many humorous and some more serious recounting Nikci Lauda’s accident and subsequent return to the cockpit just weeks later, including comments from Lauda and interviews with Peter Windsor.
